Double-page spread

For the picture used on the double-page spread I edited it by changing the levels of the lighting as the picture was darker than I wanted it. I also perfected the skin with the spot healing brush tool, I then used the magic wand tool to select the pupils and make them brighter to stand out from the page more.
I then decided to download some stamps off the internet to use around the page, Inspired from another magazine I saw that did a similar thing which I thought worked well, especially for my genre. I spread the background of the photo along the two pages and feathered it so the contrast wasn't so harsh.
This is the end result after putting both the text, background and picture together. I used different colours on this page so that it was more varied compared to the other two pages, I have used pull out quotes in a darker colour so that they stand out and highlight key parts of the interview and I have used the same font for 'Jack Arnold' as I used for the front cover of 'That's Rock!' so that it is still recognizable.
